After this mission the plane of F/O William T Norris was missing.
F/O Norris was taken POW at Stalag III-A Luckenwalde, Brandenburg, Prussia, Germany.
After wwii Norris returned to duty and became 1 Lt of 9th Fighter Bomber Squadron of 49th Bomber Group and lost his life during the Korean war in 1950.
