note: Pilot Officer Christian T “Chri” Sutter was the only survivor when the plane of 419 Squadron Sutter Crew collided with Avro Lancaster Mk I (PA219-BM-M) of 433 TAF Squadron during “Operation Bonn”. Both planes crashed South of Vielsalm (Province of Luxembourg) in the Belgian Ardennes. By March 14, 1945 Sutter returned in Britain to his original crew.
Sutter died peacefully March 14, 2014 at the age of 94 in Calgary, Alberta.
